But no one imagined it would be Yolanda. Having been out of juvenile detention for less than a month, she was
just a worthless piece of trash in their eyes. How could Yolanda possibly have connections to Vic?
Paul's family and Skylar were not the only ones bewildered. Even Joe and Diana could not believe this. The same
Vic who would not even grant Joe an audience was now personally opening the car door for his disowned
daughter.
The shock was overwhelming for Joe.
"I must be dreaming..." Paul pinched himself hard and yelped in pain. It was not a dream. This was real! The girl
who he was just mocking half an hour ago was now Vic's honored guest. He could not process it.

After helping Yolanda out of the car, Vic stood beside her and graciously gestured to her to go first.
Though he was Riverdale's most feared business tycoon, Vic was known for
being incredibly loving and devoted to his mother. Since Yolanda had saved his mother's life, opening doors was
the least he could do for her. He would gladly be at her service for anything she needed!
Liam and his team hurried forward to greet them. "Mr. Seinfield! Ms. Henderson!"
"Welcome!"
"Mr. Seinfield, lunch is ready and we've cleared Crystal Palace of all other guests. You and Ms. Henderson won't
be disturbed during your meal!" Liam bowed to both Vic and Yolanda.
"Ms. Henderson, shall we head upstairs?" Vic smiled, leading the way. "Right this way."
Yolanda nodded. Though renting out the entire Crystal Palace seemed excessive, she understood Vic's caution.
He had many enemies, and he had to be extra careful with his mother's recent poisoning.
In such a large restaurant, they might not be able to secure the venue well enough by allowing regular
customers in.
Alice and the others ogled at Yolanda and Vic. Behind them, their entourage including Blake and Jeremy were
also making their way inside.
"Yolanda! Are you doing this on purpose?" Burning with anger and refusing to be stepped on by Yolanda, Alice
shouted as they passed by. "Are you proud of kicking your family elders out and humiliating them like this?"
Yolanda had embarrassed them thoroughly, and Alice could not swallow such insults. She knew about Yolanda's
connection to the Savage family and assumed Vic was just being courteous because of that. So she still looked
down on Yolanda.
Plus, Alice considered herself Yolanda's elder, so disciplining her was her right. Surely even someone with Vic's
influence could not stop her from lecturing her own niece. That was their family matter, after all!
Besides, her future daughter-in-law, Skylar, was here. Her family could influence Vic with just a phone call, so
Alice felt even bolder. She pointed at Yolanda and continued scolding her.
"Yolanda, how did our family raise such a useless, petty thing like you? Just because we didn't invite you to
lunch, you had to have outsiders block us from entering? How can someone so young be so evil? What will you
becwhen you're older?"
"Who do you think you are to speak to Ms. Henderson like that?" Vic stopped in his tracks and turned to face
Alice. One look from him was enough to make her blood run cold.
Meanwhile, his bodyguards all turned to stare at Alice. They were ready to move at Vic's command.
