Chapter 443

Up till now, Harold and Diana still believed Skylar's lies. Yolanda really couldn't figure out if they were biased

against her or if they were mentally challenged.

If the Sheridens had such a big influence when it cto Vic, why did Skylar retreat hastily just now?

Sadly, it was hugely ironic that both Harold and Diana would rather completely ignore all red flags and suspicions

than choose to believe their daughter.

Yolanda didn't have the patience to argue with Diana. She ignored Diana's yelling and cussing and went back to

her room.

The truth would reveal itself one day. When that day came, Yolanda was curious to know how Diana would react.

Tflew by quickly. Another month was gone in a blink. It was soon tfor First Academy's first spring term

monthly exam.

That morning, Yolanda left h20 minutes ahead of tand took the train to school. When she arrived at the

examination hall, she was told that her spot wasn't there.

"Follow me, Yolanda." Ms. Bennett, Class A's homeroom teacher, then brought Yolanda to an empty classroom on

the top floor.

Yolanda looked up slightly and scoffed coldly as she scanned every corner of the classroom. It seemed like the

academy's board of directors had gone to lengths to ensure she couldn't cheat.

At a glance, she saw at least a dozen surveillance cameras capturing at least three sides of each angle

surrounding her seat.

The government probably wouldn't even require as much surveillance equipment if they were interrogating a

criminal.

When the exam was about to start, a dozen proctors marched in from outside the classroom and took their

positions all around Yolanda. They would watch Yolanda like a hawk and would get up to investigate thoroughly

every tYolanda moved.

If another student with a weaker mental fortitude had been subject to such perverted supervision in an exam,

they might have forgotten everything they had learned from all of the anxiety it induced.

However, Yolanda was merely amused as all the proctors watched her intently.

When she received the exam papers, she realized that her exam papers might be different from what the rest of

the students would have. The ink on her exam papers hadn't fully dried yet, signifying that it was clearly printed

at the very last minute.

It seemed like the academy's board of directors was worried that Harvey would side with her and reveal the

questions to her beforehand, so they had changed another set of exam papers for her right before the exams

started.

The bell rang five minutes after that to signify the beginning of the examination.

The first examination subject was language arts. Yolanda scanned the questions on the exam papers and found

them more difficult than the usual freshman exam papers. Sof the questions involved the syllabus taught in

sophomore year, sfrom the junior syllabus, and seven from graduate school.

The despicable, cunning academy's board of directors really did all they could to make sure she didn't get first

place in her grade. They even resorted to such lowly means.

According to the standards of class 1A, they might not even pass if they were given this set of exam papers.

Sadly, the plans of the academy's board of directors were about to fall through the cracks.

This set of exam papers would be of extrdifficulty for a normal student, but to Yolanda, these questions

posed no difficulties at all.

The proctors frowned as they watched Yolanda answer the questions swiftly and without hesitation.

This set of exam papers was a combined effort from all of them. Sof the questions were even more difficult

than those from competitions. If they were being completely honest with themselves, they could not have done

it at Yolanda's speed if they were the ones who had to answer these questions.

Yolanda was just released from the juvenile detention center. Did she really not know anything? Was she only

able to enter the academy because Mr. Coleman pulled strings for her?

Who told them that she was able to get first place in her grade during the last examinations because she

cheated and no one caught her?

How was she able to answer questions like these so swiftly?

"Maybe she thought the questions were too difficult, so she just wrote gibberish. It's otherwise impossible for her

to be so quick." The two proctors who were near Yolanda whispered to each other.

"True. It's impossible to answer even normal questions so quickly. She probably didn't even finish reading the

questions in such a short amount of time."

Once they had their minds set on this, they felt more reassured.

They were tasked to watch Yolanda like a hawk so she didn't have any chance to cheat. Now that Yolanda had

surveillance cameras watching her from every possible angle with no blind spots around, with so many pairs of

eyes watching her, it would be impossible for her to cheat.

"We'll wait for the results to be revealed and for her to be chased out of school."

This was the mission given to them by the academy's board of directors. They had to make sure Yolanda couldn't

get first place again.
