“That's a load of bullshit.” | barked out while laughing and Marco shoved his hands into his pockets, his lips

pursed as he stared at me.

“It’s not, from all what I've seen so far.” He argued and | let my mind wander around, trying to figure out when

and how he figured out that I still wanted Addison. | used to think that | was oblivious as fuck but apparently, |

haven't been like | used to think.

“Well, what if I still want her? That's not a bad thing after all. She is a very hot person anyway.” | stated, deciding

to just own up to it instead of trying to deny it. Marco’s mouth fell open as he blinked at me, while | rolled my

towards me, his hands clenched at his sides as he spoke next.

“Of course | don’t. What? You think I don’t know that yet?” When he still remained silent, I rolled my eyes. “At the

end of the day, I'm much more self aware compared to you. And I'm not delusional.” | informed him, watching as

he tried easy something a few times before trailing off and taking a step back.

“Stay away from Addison.” He warmed as he kept walking away. | rolled my eyes and waved him off a he got to

the door.

He hesitated at the door despite getting it open and | arched a brow at him, watching as he opened his mouth to

say something before he ended up shaking his head right before he stepped out, closing the door after himself. |

walked over to lock the door, my mind a calm source within my chest. After | turned around, | waited a few beats

before speaking.

There was the sounds of crawling against the rug, then she was exiting the table and rising to her full height. Her

eyes were widened, but no longer filled with panic. Now, she just looked confused and perplexed.

“You heard all of that, didn’t you?” | asked and she let out a small sound as she nodded, looking like she was

drained. She walked over fo the bed and sank into it, then i walked off to get her swater. After | handed it off

to her, she accepted it gratefully and gulped most of it down, then she grabbed my wrist before | could pull

away.

“Is Marco still doing something Witt Aisha?” She asked quietly, blinking up atand I sighed internally. | hadn't

meant to reveal that today cause | knew she was listening in on the conversation. | had known that Marco never

fully ended things with Aisha, but | refrained from telling Addison that because after seeing her get back

together with Marco had showed that she still loved him a whole lot, and telling someone in love that her lover is

cheating on her, the chance of her believing you over her cheating lover is little to none, which
