hum as he stepped back, and throughout that entire moment, | was still shrugging to gather myself together.
“You bastard.” | whispered weakly while my walls clenched around nothing but he only laughed, and then he
smoothed my hair, his fingers combing through it.
“Settle down now, I'll take care of it tonight after we get out of here. | wasn’t supposed to finger you again, but
alas, | just couldn't help myself.” He murmured and | glared at him, wishing | had enough strength to punch him

“Tonight?” | whispered while he hummed and nodded, but as the rest of his words dawned on me, | stiffened
then tried to shove away from him but he remained unmovable.
“What do you mean by after | leave with you?” | asked and he rolled his eyes.
“It’s just as it sounds. You're leaving with me.”
| blinked at him for a few seconds before letting out a scoff, and then | shook my head. “You can’t be serious, just
because you fingeredhard doesn’t mean I'd do that.” | managed to respond while he rolled his eyes.
“You're supposed to cto work tonight. I'll just take you instead. It’s the sthing.” He reasoned, but |
shook my head cause that reasoning was flawed as heck.
“No, that can’t happen. | chere with Marco, and he'd most likely want to dropoff at home. I'll then take
a taxi from hover to the club,” | responded but he rolled his eyes and shook his eyes.

| bristled as | pointed at my neck. “His damn hickeys and all of this, just so I'd leave with you!” | cried out and he
regardedfor a few moments before snorting and rolling his eyes.
“The hickeys were from a heat of the moment, I'd never resort to petty tricks to get my way, you should know
that by now.” He explained but | didn’t believe him. | felt so annoyed as | turned back to regard my reflection,
hating the sight of the person staring right back at me.
Should | leave with Zane now, then It would mean | barely got to spend twith Marco tonight despite dressing
up and actually getting along and vibing with him tonight than usual. That madeannoyed as hell, especially
because it was my own fault because if | had remained stronger, firmer and unmoving in my decision, he'd have
exited this bathroom long ago and I'd probably have began to dance with Marco at this point or something.
“I hate you,” | whispered, staring at him through the mirror. Then I tried and failed to smoothen my hair
successfully. He folded his hands and snorted.
“It’s a free world. You're entitled to any emotion you like.” He drawled easily and that infuriatedfurther.
“Seriously, | really do.” | bit out. “You've ruined my perfect night with my boyfriend.”
He arched a brow at me. “Really now? That's the lane you're choosing to go down now? Blshifting?” He
laughed softly after that. “It's a sh| never noticed you feeling this way when you were clenching tightly
around my fingers and wishing | could fuck you here in a public bathroom.”
My face flamed as his words washed overand | spluttered, trying and failing to cup with a good clap
back.
“I hate you!” | cried out again but he only laughed again, completely and utterly unfazed.

My face got flooded with color and | spluttered again, but before | could respond, he was shrugging out of his suit
jacket and draping it over my shoulder. When | tried to jerk it off in annoyance, he jerkedforward with it and
leaned down so our faces were close.
“You want every goddamn person to see you and know what you’ve been doing here with me?” He demanded,
his hot breath fanning over my lips. | held his gaze defiantly for a few seconds before a low wave of beat coursed
overand | trembled, glancing away from him as | shook my head. He pulled the lapels of the jacket over my
front before stepping back,
“Then leave the fucking jacket on so we can get the hell out of here.”
